Monday mornings are always buzzing with energy, especially when your week is packed with live radio, ice hockey, and audio projects. My week kicks off behind the microphone on the Atom Radio Breakfast Show, live from 6am to 10am. There’s something special about connecting with listeners at the start of their day—sharing music, chatting about the news, and having a few laughs along the way.
While mornings are spent on-air, I’m also juggling a variety of creative projects throughout the day. From voiceovers and audio production work to planning for upcoming events, there’s always something in motion. Crafting audio that tells a story or sets the perfect mood is a part of my week I really enjoy—it’s where technical skill meets creativity.
Of course, ice hockey is never far from my mind. This week, the anticipation is building for the Slough Jets vs Streatham Redhawks game on Saturday. MCing at these games is always a highlight; the energy of the crowd, the fast-paced action on the ice, and the excitement in the arena make it a truly memorable experience.
Whether it’s on the radio, behind the mic at a hockey game, or creating audio content in the studio, starting the week with energy, music, and creativity keeps life interesting. Here’s to a week full of tunes, hockey, and a little behind-the-scenes radio magic!
