It’s crunch time now as every game is virtually must win! Welcome to the business end of the regular season.
Welcome to the Hangar for tonight’s match up against the MK Lightning. MK opened up their quest for the Cup on their own ice on Wednesday and will be hoping that went well for them. For the Jets it’s been busy as usual with intense training in preparation for this weekend’s games.
Last Sunday against the Bison we played well. They outshot us but just couldn’t break us down. We conceded a late goal in the second period and then lost Padi when a freak accident at the face-off saw him ejected from the game. That resulting powerplay goal boosted the winning margin to two but it was a great team effort for the full 60 minutes.
Tonight after the game we are taking the player sponsor photos. Given the mid season turbulence in the team it’s been a tough year for the player sponsors. But for the unexpected and unannounced departure of the invisible man we’ve managed to find a player for every sponsor and on behalf of the club I’d like to thank them all for their patience and understanding in addition to their sponsorship.
