Your audio journey – Part 21 – Cinema trailer effect

Following from the EQ double part this time it’s a bit of fun using different effects to turn an ordinary voiceover into a cinema trailer effect within 5 minutes!

We look at pitch shifting the voice, adding modulation and finally reverb to finish off the production.

As we’ve discussed previously the effects in the effects rack are processed in rack order. First we pitch down the voice to make it sound more deep, second we add some chorus to add “extra voices” and beef it up and finally we add some reverb to polish off the production.

Have some fun with this one!
