Today’s Audio Journey looks at how to convert the sample type of your audio.
In Audition you have the choice to work in mono, stereo or 5.1 but you can also convert the sample type having already started a project.
A word of warning, once you’ve converted sample type down (from 5.1 to Stereo or Stereo to Mono) and saved the file you will not be able to convert back to the original format as the data relating to the original sample type will have been replaced with data relating to the new sample type.
