Welcome to the Hangar for tonight’s match up against the Milton Keynes Lightning. It’s been a tough week for sure, a great win last Saturday followed by a massive loss on Sunday followed by Ryan’s departure on Tuesday. I personally would like to wish Ryan all the best for the future and I’m sure he’ll be signed by another team if not by the time you read this then certainly soon.
Hockey has it’s ups and downs! Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and like most things in life it’s a rollercoaster ride. Ups follow downs and downs follow ups and that’s just the way a lot of things are. Sport, luck, weather, temperatures all have their ups and downs.
A warm welcome to the MK Lightning travelling supporters who’ve made the journey tonight and credit to them for turning up to support their team given every game, even the “home” games are away games for them at the moment.
