November 26th – Slough Jets Programme

Last weekend was good and bad. Good to see Gary Stefan back at the Hangar starting the game with ceremonial puck drop and presenting the Man Of The Match awards after the game but obviously not so great to see the result after the 60 minutes.

I spoke to Stef during the game and we’re hopefully bringing something good to Jets TV in the near future and with that in mind I’m looking into other options to bring more 25th anniversary season views and recollections to Jets TV throughout the season. So far technology has thwarted my search but I’ll keep searching and hopefully get a solution soon.

Last weekend we went pointless and conceded top spot the the Guildford Flames. I tweeted after the weekend saying I hope they kept the top spot warm as I have no doubt we’ll be back for it soon and I do believe that. We proved ourselves the most consistent team of the start of the season and one bad weekend doesn’t undo all that work. I’m sure that we’ll get right back up be back challenging for that top spot again soon.

Tonight it’s time to bounce back and the opponents standing in the way are the Bracknell Bees. The Bees have dropped back after a promising start and sit down in 8th place in the table going into this weekend. We know that they are not the expected two points they have been in previous seasons, we know they are more than capable of taking two points this season and we know that we need to be at the top of our game going into this match up.

Tonight you can grab yourself a bargain with the shirt auction taking place this evening. The available shirts from last season’s squad are being auctioned tonight and even if you don’t have much money with you this evening you can still take part and if you have the winning bid secure your shirt with a £10 deposit and pay the balance next weekend.

The shirt auction will end at end of the second interval in tonight’s game so get your bids in and good luck!

Down to business tonight, it’s local derby night and it’s time to get back on track so let’s get right behind the Jets tonight and make the most of the home advantage.

Enjoy the game
