Your audio journey – Part 50 – Automations and keyframes

This part of the audio journey continues from the previous two parts where we looked at clip effects and track effects but this time we look at controlling automations from within the multitrack.

Most effects can be controlled by automations within the multitrack. You can add the effect to a track and drop down automation lines selecting various controls of the effect and then drawing keyframes on, moving the line up and down to control the effect.

Likewise, you can do the same with clip effects and again the advantage to using clip effects is that the effect is automated on the clip itself should that clip need to be moved in the multitrack session.

As always if there’s any questions use the contact tab on the menu bar above and I’ll get back to you, alternatively you can post your question as a comment on the Youtube video also.
