Slough Jets

Slough Jets LogoFrom 1992 – 2014 I was the Slough Jets Game-day DJ taking care of all the audio you hear on the game day experience.

The Slough Jets were an Ice Hockey team playing in the English Premier Ice Hockey League, the second tier of British Ice Hockey. The Jets won the EPIHL play-offs in 2008 and 2010 and played their home games at Absolutely Ice on Saturdays (occasionally Sundays) from September to April.

I was responsible for all the audio heard on game day from walk up, through the build up, the line ups and the three periods and intervals. Check out the blogs from my game-day programme articles and more.

In 2014 the decision was taken to close the Slough Jets as a professional sports team, ending 29 years of proud history.  The development club continues to this day.  July 2014 saw a charity game held reuniting Jets legends from 1986-2014 raising over £4000 for SPICE and the Lymphoma Association
