In mid 2015 I was given the opportunity to take my career to the next level as I became the host of the Time 106.6 Breakfast Show broadcasting to the station’s over 20,000 listeners per week
Through over 30 years as the Resident DJ at Absolutely Ice (previously named Slough Ice Arena) DJing to the over 140,000 annual visitors of the rink my voice has become one of the most recognisable voices in the area to many generations. This in addition to a 22 year tenure as the Slough Jets game night DJ/Announcer getting my voice known to BNL and EPL fans across the United Kingdom.
Time 106.6 – Breakfast Show Host (June 2015 – October 2015)
Breakfast show host from 6-10 AM on the local station for Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and beyond.
- Managing an on air team consisting of a broadcast journalist, a travel reporter and a sports reporter presenting a music based wake you up show with news, sport, travel, competitions, features and a juke box hour from 9-10. Also pre-recorded finance and entertainment news
- Provide live inserts from outside Broadcasts from Royal Windsor Racecourse, interviewing officials, race-goers, exhibitors and sponsors.
- Experience of RCS Zetta, Voicetracking, Segue Editing etc
- Experience of RCS GSelector. Adding songs, links, category management, statistics and reporting, clock editing and creation and assignment.
- Within 4 months trebled listener interaction with the show via text messages, phone calls, email and social media
- Tweaked existing features and introduced new features

Absolutely Ice – Resident DJ (April 1990 – present)
- Solely responsible for hosting all ice arena disco sessions including under 18 club nights, family afternoons including music scheduling, presentation, and live DJing. Have also hosted and music selected for adult sessions with a more laid back atmosphere
- Compère, DJ and host of annual Christmas show, presenting the rink’s seasonal skating show/gala.
- Integration of social media use into discos, shows and events
- Sole host of Arena special events
- Produce short “Best Bit” podcasts from each set
- Marketing Support including launching of social media sites and development of “Foamtastic Friday” and “Saturday Sensations” brands
Freelance Hockey DJ/Announcer (November 2014 – present)
- Providing cover for EPIHL ice hockey team announcers
- Warm the crowd through both vocal and musical methods

- Select and play suitable music at all stops including goals, penalties, incidents and just general breaks

Recent Charity Works
- Co-organised, DJ’d and hosted Slough Jets Legends game marking the end of professional hockey in Slough raising money for Special People On Ice and the Lymphoma Association
- Compere/Host for a skating gala at Absolutely Ice raising funds for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service
